Gear up for this year's Gratiot Cruise August 1, 2010 in Clinton Township!

CLINTON TOWNSHIP –Save the date Sunday, August 1, 2010 for this year's Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise!. Go back in time with vehicles from all era’s cruising Gratiot from 14 Mile to north of Metropolitan Parkway through Clinton Township as part of the eighth annual Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise.

You will see street rods, hot rods, classics, race cars, pace cars, trucks and muscle cars – you name it and it will probably be cruising! This free family event will have something for everyone. From toddlers driving pedal cars to folks remembering their first vehicles, there will be lots of fun and, of course, lots and lots of cars! This year there will be car events all week before the cruise just to add to the fun. Watch for information on the events page to get in on the fun.

Classic car clubs and classic car owners are encouraged to cruise to Gratiot and join in the fun. Businesses are welcoming cruisers and hoping families come out to enjoy going back in time. Once again clubs can contact the cruise committee to assist in finding a gathering spot along the strip. This year will not be different with the Gratiot corridor of businesses giving back to the community with free events.There will be magicians, NASCAR displays, clowns, contests, radio stations, dunk tanks, moonwalks, live bands and more. The cruise committee is hoping businesses get involved somehow.
