Cruise PASSPORT for Cruise Car Shows is fun way to win prizes

CLINTON TOWNSHIP - The Clinton Township Cruise Committee has created a Cruise Passport for the Cruise pre-week of Car Shows starting July 26 through July 31, 2010. Classic Car owners who pick up a Cruise Passport at one of the Car Shows can get it stamped each day. The more stamps the more chances for prizes at the end of the week.

This year is the first year the Clinton Township Cruise has included a week full of events. "We wanted to be able to say thanks for those cruisers who get really involved and go to many of the pre-week car shows," said Tracey Moro. "You will be able to receive a Passport on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday only. Prizes will be given away on Sunday at Cruise Headquarters. It's just another way to get the community involved and interact with our cruisers."

Having the businesses throughout Clinton Township involved in this year's cruise is a big deal to the Cruise Committee and to the community. "The Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise is one of the biggest events in Macomb County. We wanted to involve our businesses off the Gratiot strip and this is a great way to do that," said Moro. "Clinton Township will be a map of Car Shows for the week. In fact the Passport has a "treasure map" look to it. It will add yet another way to stay connected to cruisers and residents in the local area."

The Car Shows are as follows:

Monday, July 26 - Great Baraboo
Tuesday, July 27 - Sonic Drive In
Tuesday, July 27 - Italian Cultural Center
Wednesday, July 28 - Fern Hill Country Club
Thursday, July 29 - CJ Barrymores
Thursday, July 29 - Concorde Inn
Friday, July 30 - Dawg House
Saturday, July 31 Hampton Inn
